Hex

Hex accepts standard 6-pt, 12-pt, or open-end wrench.

One-Way
|
|
Basic slot has reverse side cammed so that screwdriver can only advance the screw and not back it out.

Phillips
|
|
Most recommended drive type. Sharp-cornered cross recess gives close fit and good control. Always use a driver bit in good condition

Slotted
|
|
Accepts standard blade screwdriver. Requires less downward pressure to drive slotted parts than it does those with crossrecessed openings. Use proper fitting blade to minimize slippage.

Spanner
|
|
Special unslotted screws surface, in Round undrilled, Flat drilled and others that require a special wrench.

Square
|
|
Square drive increases productivity with excellent torque transmission and resistance to cam-out.

Torx
|
|
Positive-engaging, fast-locating method of transmitting torque and optimizing worker efficiency. Reduces unauthorized removal. Requires Torx® driver.
